The contract involves the replacement of penthouse and main roof at the State Office Building Campus in Albany, New York, with a preliminary construction budget of $5M. The scope of work includes the complete removal of the existing roof system down to the structural deck, asbestos abatement, and providing a new modified bitumen roofing system to meet NYS building and energy codes. Additional work scope items include new ceiling and lighting systems on the 3rd floor as well as exterior envelope masonry repairs.
