Work on FeedMore WNY’s upcoming regional campus in Hamburg continues to make strong progress as Trautman Associates and a dedicated team of construction experts advance work on the landmark project, as reported by Buffalo Business First.

The new, approximately 200,000-square-foot facility, located on a 74-acre site at 4832 Camp Road, is designed to consolidate FeedMore WNY’s regional hunger-relief operations into a single centralized hub. Positioned at the geographic center of the organization's four-county service footprint—Erie, Niagara, Chautauqua, and Cattaraugus counties—the unified campus will more than double FeedMore WNY's overall operational capacity across Western New York.

Designed by Trautman Associates to address space constraints at FeedMore WNY’s former facilities, the state-of-the-art building delivers massive capacity upgrades across distribution, production, and cold-chain storage. The hub features a 76,700-square-foot warehouse equipped with advanced thermal envelopes and expanded freezer and cooler infrastructure, eliminating the organization's need to lease off-site commercial cold storage to preserve perishable goods. Eight industrial loading bays and high-clearance staging zones streamline intake and routing for thousands of pounds of food daily. In addition, the 47,000-square-foot high-throughput commercial commissary kitchen dramatically scales meal production capabilities, empowering staff and volunteers to prepare up to 20,000 nutritious meals per day for home delivery and congregate dining programs across the region.

Beyond logistics and meal preparation, the design integrates versatile community spaces including workforce development classrooms, clean repackaging areas, an on-site greenhouse, and freight farming technology to support long-term, sustainable food distribution.
