Sarah K. Yap and Hector P. Garrido have joined the Trautman Associates staff of architects.
Sarah is a graduate of Alfred State College with a Bachelor’s of Science degree in Architectural Technology and was previously associated with DiDonato Associates and T. Y. Lin International, Rochester, NY where she was an architectural designer and part of the team receiving the 2012 New York Upstate APA Planning Excellence Award for the Rochester Public Market Renovation and Expansion project. She successfully completed the OSHA 10 Hour Construction Safety Training Course.
Hector has 18 years of architectural design experience and was most recently associated with Fontanese Folts Aubrecht Ernst Architects. He holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Professional Studies - Architecture; a Master’s in Business Administration with a concentration in Marketing; and a Master’s in Architecture. He is the recipient of several scholarship awards, was the lead architectural designer of the team who won third place in the Cold Springs Housing Competition, and is a volunteer at the Darwin Martin House and previously for Habitat for Humanity.
