Trautman Associates is providing design services to 130 Pearl Street, with plans to convert the historic building into vibrant downtown apartments and retail space.

Built in 1916, the four-story terra cotta building is currently unoccupied with 18,000 SF of office space. Facade improvements will include demolition of an unsympathetic streetscape to be replaced with new terra cotta and glass storefronts, replicating what was original to the building.

Interior apartments will take advantage of large windows and tall ceilings to create day lit loft-type living spaces. A roof top terrace with great views of our Buffalo architecture will be an added amenity for residents. Lower floor units will feature private outdoor patios in the rear courtyard.

We're happy to be restoring this gem and putting back an important piece of Buffalo's urban fabric!
