Trautman Associates was awarded a five-year term contract to perform code compliance reviews and inspections for NYS Office of General Services through 2023.

We have performed architectural, structural, civil, and MEP/FP engineering code compliance reviews, document reviews, special inspections and best practice reviews under this contract. 

To date, we have completed the following: 

  • 274 & 299 Cayuga Road Office/Warehouse Buildings - Architectural, Structural, Civil and MEP/FP engineering code review for interior renovations and entrance modifications at the FedEx facility
    301 Cayuga Road Office/Warehouse Buildings - Architectural and MEP/FP engineering code review for vacant space that will be turned into 5 rentable shell spaces
  • Amtrak Buffalo Exchange St. Railroad Station & Platform - Architectural, Structural, Civil and MEP/FP engineering code and best practice reviews, including compliance inspections for NYS Department of Transportation to replace the existing train station and platform
  • Batavia Downs Gaming - Architectural, Structural, Civil and MEP/FP engineering code review and compliance inspections for facility interior renovations and addition
  • Bedford Correctional Facility - Architectural, Structural and MEP engineering code review and preparation of construction documents for the renovations of the Family Union Facility and replacement of the roof
  • Buffalo Niagara International Airport - Architectural, MEP/FP engineering code, and best practice reviews for de-icing system, new Market on Elmwood restaurant and Bocce Pizza & Burger Fir restaurants at the NFTA facility
  • Hamburg Gaming - Architectural, Structural, Civil and MEP/FP engineering code review for facility renovations and new restaurant
  • Mohawk Correctional Facility - MEP engineering code and best practice reviews for the installation of a new hot water tube bundle
  • RTS Wyoming Bus Garage - Architectural, Structural, Civil and MEP/FP engineering code and best practices reviews of new maintenance facility
