Trautman Associates was engaged by Hadley Exhibits to provide architectural and engineering services in support of their renovations to the New York Power Authority’s Niagara Power Vista.
The project consisted of construction of a three-story glass enclosed building addition that contains an elevator, plaza link, and modifications to an existing ornamental exterior steel stair. In addition, an existing interior stairway was replaced with a new handicap-accessible ramp/stairway assembly which allowed for the removal of three existing chairlifts.
The objective of the project was to improve accessibility. Our services were involved in all phases of design and construction monitoring. We also collaborated with Hadley Exhibits for engineering support services associated with their major renovation of the Vista’s exhibits.
