Trautman Associates worked with the District and the New York State Education Department to design a new stadium venue at the original High School site. The limited site footprint made this effort particularly challenging, and Trautman Associates assisted the District with addressing its dilemma of providing adequate athletic fields for the High School’s 1,750 students. For the past ten years, propositions failed to construct stadium sites at this facility due to issues related to neighborhood adjacencies, parking, and noise pollution.

Alternative sites were used for new baseball fields and ancillary athletic facilities, both with natural fields and synthetic carpet, all-weather surfaces.

Successful transfer of the stadium to an off-site location allowed the high school facilities to provide for daily practices and physical education classes.
