Trautman Associates was retained by the Buffalo Public Schools to provide integrated design services for renovations to 15 classrooms and the gymnasium for Buffalo Public School 95, Waterfront Elementary.
Classroom renovations included floor, wall, and ceiling finishes, as well as mechanical and electrical work. Our design called for new ¾ height metal stud and drywall partitions on all floors provides partial separation of existing open classroom spaces, an acoustical barrier and structured wall assembly to support new interactive whiteboards, cameras and computer technology.
In the gymnasium, our design included new motorized, ADA-compliant bleachers, new padded lockable gym equipment cabinets, a new motorized roll-up divider curtain, and refinishing the gymnasium wood floor and re-striping game lines.
