Trautman Associates has a long history providing architectural and engineering services for the Williamsville Central School District. Over the years, some of these services have included improvements to the District’s grass athletic fields, including irrigation systems.

In 2015, the District selected Trautman Associates to upgrade the athletic fields at all three high schools in two phases. Upgrades included installation of synthetic turf, new entrance plazas to the sports fields, concession stands with toilets, permanent bleachers, video-capable scoreboards, LED lighting, and a portable sound system and press box.
Phase I addressed improvements at North High School. Specific improvements include entry/ticket booth and permanent bleachers to accommodate seating for 750-1,000 and portable seating for approximately 250 more. Athletic fields were designed to host two games running concurrently at any given time for baseball, soccer, and lacrosse. Construction cost approximately $8 million and was completed in September 2016 in time for the first game of the 2016-2017 academic year.
Phase II addressed improvements at South and East High Schools. Design and construction were completed in time for the first game of the 2017-2018 school year.
